Unveiling the Palace Vans Low: A Classic Collab Between Palace & Vans
Renowned brands, Palace and Vans, have collaborated again to create the Palace Vans Low. This unique product merge features from two popular models, the Half Cab, and the Skate MC. Skateboarding legend Mike Carroll particularly favors the latter, making it a cult favorite. The Birth of a New Classic.
The Palace Vans Low is a clever fusion of the iconic Half Cab and Mike Carroll’s signature vans. The fusion created a unique sneaker, borrowing heavily from both shoes’ aesthetics. Available in the classic color choices of black or white. This innovative low-top silhouette is sure to turn heads.
A Blend of Style & Functionality
This collab isn’t just about good looks. State-of-the-art features also pack it, making it a delight to wear. The new low-top vans silhouette combines upper sports and is the perforated detailing characteristic of Mike Carroll’s Skate MC 96. While the collar detailing is reminiscent of the Half Cab. A special, co-branded badge that echoes the Half Cab style is a standout feature on the shoe’s lateral collar.
Vans’ logo graces the locked-in tongue straps of the shoe, accompanied by Palace’s branding. The heel flaunts the red Vans logo, paired with the Palace logo. Further emphasizing the collaborative nature of this creation.
Designed for Comfort & Performance
The collab doesn’t compromise on comfort or performance. The shoe incorporates the best of Vans branding and signature skateboarding technology. Including impact-absorbing Popcush insoles, long-lasting Duracap underlays, and grippy Sickstick gum rubber outsoles. With these features. Designers created these two sneakers to withstand the rigors of skateboarding and ensure maximum comfort and support for the wearer. Lastly, the sneakers have a robust build composed of suede, perforated leather, and tumbled leather
More Than Just a New Shoe
The release of the Palace Vans Low isn’t just about the shoe. To celebrate this collab, Palace and Vans are also releasing two t-shirts offered in black and white. These tees feature the words “Palace Low” tag emblazoned across the front. With a “Palace Vans 2023” logo underneath, making a bold statement about this unique partnership.
A Comedic Celebration
Adding a touch of humor to the launch, Palace and Vans have also released a short film titled “Internal Only”. Despite the name, the film is accessible to everyone, not just employees. It stars Rory Milanes and Danny Brady, pro skateboarders for Palace and Vans. Who humorously walk through the features of the Palace Vans Low for “Vans employees”. The film adds a layer of levity to the release and showcases the brands’ shared sense of fun.
